Sherwood Voices: Borrowing MP3 players

We want to make sure lots of people can enjoy our Sherwood Voices Storytelling Audio walks. So for those who don't have access to their own mobile devices, we're making available a limited number of MP3 players and headphone sets.  These will be found at the locations listed below. They will be at some of these locations from 28 January, but do see the location specific information below.

If you borrow from the library, you will simply need your library card to book one out. If you aren’t a member of Inspire libraries, membership is free and simple – find out more here. You can check availability of the MP3s at the relevant libraries by searching our library catalogue here.

Do make sure that you plan your walk so that you can pick up and return the equipment on a day and time that the venue is open! There are links below to check library opening times.

Please note, for other venues, you may be asked to leave a deposit. 

Bestwood

Calverton

These are available at Calverton Library from Monday 30 January. Do check the library opening times here.  You might want to call to check availability.

Clipstone

These are available at either Clipstone Library (from TBA) or Rumbles Café on the Vicar Water Country Park site.  You might want to call the café in advance on 01623 424836 to check availability.  Do check the library opening times before visiting here.

 Edwinstowe 

These are available at either Edwinstowe Library (from Saturday 28 January) or the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre.  Do check the library opening times before visiting here.  For the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre opening times go to https://www.visitsherwood.co.uk/

Newstead 

These are available at the Newstead Centre on Tilford Road, which is open from 8.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday. You might want to call in advance on 01623 720140, or email admin@newsteadcentre.co.uk, to check availability.

Ollerton
