Public Library Universal Health Offer

Libraries Connected and partners including The Arts Council and The Reading Agency have identified six key areas of service which library users see as essential to 21st century library service – reading, information, digital, health, learning and culture. From this they have developed The Universal Offers.

The Universal Health Offer expresses the public library contribution to the positive health and well-being of local communities.  It includes a commitment to provide a range of services including public health information and promotion, sign posting and referrals as well as creative and social reading activity.
