Inspire are delighted to share the I Am A Writer publication.
As part of I Am A Writer, six professional writers worked with six different groups of people in Nottinghamshire communities – groups which included people affected by dementia, older people and neurodivergent families – to co-create pieces of writing.
Prior to working with the groups, our writers took part in a series of Continuing Professional Development sessions delivered by Writing East Midlands, to help them expand their skillsets, to inform their creative practices, and to better equip them to work with the participants. Our writers then led a series of workshops with their groups.
