Successful crime novelist and short story writer Martin Edwards lists some of his favourite titles, from classic literature to contemporary thrillers.

Martin is a prolific author whose crime novels include the Harry Devlin series and the Lake District mysteries. He  has also edited numerous anthologies. He is a former Chair of the Crime Writers’ Association and in 2015 he was elected eighth President of the Detection Club. He is also Archivist of the CWA and of the Detection Club..
