Henry is a Nottingham born writer, poet, TV and film producer and co-founder of the Nottingham Poetry Festival. In 2017 he was honoured with a special BAFTA for services to Television. He co-wrote Mrs Merton and The Royle Family amongst others, and produced Gavin and Stacey, Alan Partridge, the Oscar-winning film Philomena, and more.
Henry’s poetry books include Strikingly Invisible and The Escape Plan. His new collection The Distance Between Clouds is out on 1 May (Flapjack Press). Henry has written and performed BBC Radio 4 shows, including A Normal Universe.
