Join us at Places of Welcome!

We're part of the national Places of Welcome initiative, helping to provide a network of community venues where anyone can go to find a friendly face for a cup of tea and a chat. 

Inspire volunteers are on hand, hosting weekly sessions that provide a meeting place for those who may live alone or feel isolated, are new to the area or just want to makes some new friends. It’s somewhere everyone is welcome - just drop in and say hi, no booking required!

Sessions are currently running at the following Inspire libraries

  • Arnold Library - Fridays, 10:30am - 12pm
  • Beeston Library - Fridays, 10.30am - 12pm
  • Calverton Library - Wednesdays, 10.30am - 11.30am
  • Carlton Library - Thursdays, 2.30pm - 3.30pm 
  • Cotgrave Library - Fridays, 10.30am - 12pm
  • East Leake Library - Mondays, 10am - 12pm
  • Eastwood Library - Thursdays, 2pm - 3.30pm
  • Edwinstowe Library - Tuesdays, 2pm - 3.30pm
  • Forest Town - Tuesdays 10.30am - 11.30am
  • Hucknall Library - Mondays, 1pm - 3pm
  • Huthwaite Library - Wednesdays, 10.30am - 11.30am
  • Keyworth Library - Mondays, 10:30am - 12pm
