We believe that the recruitment process is as much about you getting to know us as us getting to know – so that we have the confidence that:
The process we follow is:
Our jobs are posted with full details, a job description that outlines the duties and responsibilities but also our Inspire competences – how we work together and our behaviours at work
When you apply – you are able to share your work experiences and give examples from your work history of what you have achieved in the past and how you work with customers and colleagues.
The application questions are designed to support the Job Description and Inspire competencies for the role – and these are attached to our Job Adverts on the Inspire Recruitment portal.
We want everyone to be able to submit their best application – and we recommend you review the job description and competencies in full before completing your responses. This will help you:
As a general guide to all applicants, we also recommend you provide clear, concise and specific examples of where you have demonstrated the skills and experience we are looking for.
If successful at the application stage, you will have the opportunity to expand on these and other work experiences you have at the interview stage.
Using ArtificiaI Intelligence (AI) in your job application:
We value integrity and act with honesty, transparency and accountability. We want to hear about you, and whilst we allow the use of AI as a tool, if you want your application to stand out, using a generic AI-generated response isn’t going to highlight your own personal skills and experiences. If using AI in your job application, it should enhance your written application and showcase your best self - please don't rely on it to give us your own unique views and examples. Interviews are designed to probe deeper into your skills and experiences, so this will give us a clear indication of whether your application matches the real you at interview, or if it’s something generated by AI.
We review all applications, shortlist and invite to interview candidates with the applications that show how you feel you can contribute to Inspire and details about past work experiences that show this
Interviews – whether face to face or online are designed so that we really get to know you. It may also involve undertaking tasks or making a presentation that give you the opportunity to show your knowledge skills and experience.
At Inspire, dependent on the role being applied for, we send all candidates invited to interview the following information in advance:
The range of questions that may be asked - your answers to these will then be discussed in more depth during the interview.
Summary Information about any task to be
completed on the day (if applicable) e.g. IT Task or in-tray exercise.
This is your chance to, to get to know us, ask questions and really find out if the role and Inspire are right for you
Then, subject to screening and references, we can make an offer to the candidate we feel is best for the role – and then it is welcome to the team.
Inspire is committed to applying its Equality Policy at all stages of recruitment and selection.
