We've got fun events and activities for all the family in the warm welcome of your local library this October Half-term! Enjoy our engaging art workshops, fantastic craft activities and more.

Arnold I Am an Artist workshop Tuesday 29 October, 2pm - 4pm Come along to our creative session with Rachel Scanlon to make Big Little Art! Mould shapes out of clay, add tiny people to create a scene transforming your mini models into massive sculptures. There really is no wrong way to make Big Little Art. Suitable for adults and children 7+
Bingham Colouring sheets Monday 21 October - Saturday 2 November, during normal opening hours Enjoy Halloween themed colouring sheets, suitable for all children.
Pumpkin Hunt Monday 21 October - Saturday 2 November, during normal opening hours There are prizes to be won! How many different coloured pumpkins can you find in our children's library?
Wooden hanging decorations Monday 28 October until Saturday 2 November, during normal opening hours (while stocks last) Colour in a fabulous wooden hanging Halloween decoration to take home.
Monster plates Saturday 26 October, 10am - 12pm Make a monster our of a paper plate and tissue paper!
Corky Bats Wedneday 23 October 10am - 12pm and Wednesday 30 October, 2pm - 4pm Make a hanging bat with corks to take home with you!
Blidworth I Am an Artist workshop Wednesday 30 October, 2pm - 4pm Work with sculptor Deborah Frith to ask, ‘Where is your favourite place?' Debs will provide pre-rolled clay slabs that can be moulded and made to become your special place. These mini buildings will get glazed, fired and turned into a vase! Suitable for adults and children 7+ BOOKING ADVISED

Edwinstowe I Am an Artist workshop Tuesday 22 October, 2pm - 4pm Drop-in and join an interactive and enjoyable collage workshop with Rachel. You will collaboratively create collages exploring layering, colour and pattern. Suitable for adults and children 7+
Forest Town Green Man Mask Tuesday 29 October, 10:30am - 11:30am The Green Man is one of the most famous woodland spirits; celebrate Autumn with our mask-making craft.

Kirkby in Ashfield I Am an Artist workshop Thursday 24 October, 10am - 12pm Ashfield based artist Dan Donovan brings a vibrant community art project to libraries! This lively open art workshop is a place to express yourself freely, have fun and explore colours and free-form painting in a communal piece of art. Suitable for adults and children 7+
Autumn fayre Thursday 24 October, 11am - 2pm Stalls by local craftspeople including a Pumpkins and Patchwork workshop, children's craft, face painting, free refreshments and a prize draw
Volunteer gardening session Tuesday 29 October, 10am - 12pm Lend a hand and meet people in our community garden as we plant flowers for next spring. Tools and refreshments provided.
