To launch Kirkby-in-Ashfield Library's Places to Connect programme, funded by Libraries Connected and Natural England, willow artist Katrine Scott-Mitchell will guide us in willow-working techniques to create beautiful festive wreaths using natural materials.

Come along and connect with a traditional craft that celebrates our natural world and the marking of the season.

  • All materials and tools provided. You may wish to bring an apron to protect your clothing from snags.
  • Hot drinks and mince pies will be available, with donations gratefully received.
  • Limited to 10 participants. Suitable only for adults.
  • Some manual dexterity is required but activities will be accessible to all abilities.

If you have any additional requirements or questions please get in touch.

It is important that you let us know if you will be unable to attend, so that we can offer available spaces to others on the waiting list. Please contact ruth.telford-brown@inspireculture.org.uk.
