Inspire library knitters have amazed us again.
Why 400 hats?
2020 was the anniversary year of the Mayflower journey, marking 400 years since the pilgrims left Nottinghamshire for America. We wanted to knit a hat for every year!
The target was 400 hats and they smashed it by knitting, crocheting and crafting a total of 806 hats!
See the lovely hats they crafted for this years charity challenge...

Knitting and crafting for charity has become an enormous success in Inspire libraries.
Every year we support a different charity and 'call out' to groups and individuals that want to be involved and take part. The annual theme is announced in the spring and the resulting work is collected and put on display.
