Marcus has been described as ‘the leading authority on Brian Clough’ while Four Four Two magazine hailed him as ‘Brian Clough’s No1 fan.’ Marcus was born in Nottingham and became the driving force behind the fundraising campaign for the city’s Brian Clough statue unveiled by Barbara Clough in 2008.
