I Am A Writer: Writing Workshops

Coming to a library near you! Throughout the month of May, we’ll be running FREE creative writing workshops at libraries across the county. 

With the guidance of a professional writer, you’ll have the chance to explore your creativity in a relaxed and welcoming environment. There’ll be space for you to share your thoughts and stories and to try different types of writing – from poetry and memoir to fiction and playwriting. 

No previous writing experience is necessary, and this is all about trying something new and having a go.  

Suitable for adults of all ages and young people aged 9 and over. Children to be accompanied by an adult.

Inspire’s I Am A Writer is the first stage of our three-year I Am A Creator programme, which is funded by investment from Arts Council England, through our status as an ACE National Portfolio Organisation.
