Celebration of the Season at Retford Library: Springtime and Equinox

Join us for a family festival of spring surprises, including crafts, storytelling and nature-inspired activities.

As part of Retford Library's Places to Connect programme, funded by Libraries Connected and Natural England, we invite you to celebrate the world in springtime.  The spring equinox marks the time in the year when days become longer than nights and we can see the natural world awakening with colour and life.

Come along to the library to marvel at nature's transformation into warmth and light.

• Join the insect hunt in the library garden to find out what creatures have returned after winter
• Try your hand at simple willow crafts including snails and trees
• Drop in to take part in family crafts
• Enjoy some fruity spring flavours

An event for all ages.  Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
