Millions of people visit the Louvre Museum in Paris every year, many of them just to see the Mona Lisa. Some of the other masterpieces aren’t too happy about being overshadowed – and they’re here to tell everyone why they are just as important as the superstar Mona Lisa and her mysterious smile.
Join author, Alice Harman, for a fun interactive family workshop exploring her latest book Mona Lisa and the Others, which is illustrated by Sir Quentin Blake. Hear about being an author and take part in fun quizzes and activities.

Alice Harman is the author of 45 children’s non-fiction books, about everything from art and activism to technology and outer space. She loves writing fun, thoughtful books that make big ideas feel exciting and easy to understand.
Alice’s psychology quiz book, Who Do You Think You Are?, was longlisted for the 2021 Blue Peter Book Awards, and her book Modern Art Explorer has been featured in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
