Working in a Team - Level 1

Our Level 1 Working in a Team qualification is a unit from our Level 1 Award in Exploring Occupational Studies. The course is online so you can study from the comfort of your own home. 

Develop a ‘hands-on’ approach to learning and gain practical skills, knowledge and understanding in your chosen vocational area(s). The skills, knowledge and understanding gained may help you prepare for work through real or simulated work situations, and may contribute to preparing you for working life beyond education.

What will we cover?

Topics covered on this level 1 qualification include:

• The characteristics of good team working
• Understanding and demonstrating your own strengths and role in a team
• Being able to recognise and value the contribution made by others in a team
• Being able to participate in a team.

Who is the course for?

Our online Level 1 Working in a Team qualification is for adults (19+) who may wish to learn about, and gain a formal qualification in team working - an integral skill within the workplace.

How can I progress after completing the course?

Upon completion of this qualification you could progress to:

• Level 1 Award in Employability Skills 
• Level 2 Award or Certificate in Employability Skills.

Course cost

The cost of this course is FREE/£60.75.

1)  Free - if you earn less than £25,000 or are on a means-tested benefit.

2) Payment help available - if you earn more than £25,000 but are on a low-income, we might be able to help pay part or all of your course fees. Email: learning@inspireculture.org.uk for an application form or if you have any questions.

3) Co-funded - if you are on a higher-income, the government will pay approximately half of your course fees.
