About this course

In this acrylic painting course you will explore flower painting, understanding different painting 

styles as well as how to work your composition using a photo reference. Learn to simplify 

shapes and mix colours to produce a vibrant image.


Your professional tutor will demonstrate , explain and encourage you to try out the acrylic 

paint, completing fun, relaxed activities. All the art materials are provided. 


This course focuses on the properties of acrylic paint. Learners will: 

  •  Understand the importance of a sketching pad 
  •  Complete some activities to try out the media 
  •  Understanding the properties of the media and tools


By the end of the course learners will complete several exercises. They will become more 

confident in painting using acrylics.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
