By the end of the course learners will show secure knowledge of how to perform holding a hook and yarn and how to do a variety of crochet stitches.  This knowledge will be applied to simple projects such as making a purse or a bag.  You will also build up an understanding of the history of crochet, and the differences between English and American terminology.  We will also look at conversions for different crochet hooks.
