About this course

This course is intended to follow on from the Yoga for Health & Wellbeing course enabling learners to deepen their knowledge and yoga practice. 


The course will cover; 

  • the breath and yoga
  • building strength and balance
  • yoga the 5 koshas
  • yoga and chanting, and meditation. 

These topics will be explored along with any relating modern science behind the ancient practices. 


The course will include:

  • an introduction with context to the session
  • explorations around the physical practice
  • relaxation/meditation
  • a short reflection on the theme at the end of each session

 What will learners achieve by the end of the course?  

  • Learners will identify personal daily strategies to improve their health and well-being. 

 

What skills or knowledge do learners already need to have to attend the course? 

  • A basic previous knowledge of yoga would be an advantage. 
  • This is a mat based session where learners will need to move from the floor to standing. 
  • Learners will need to wear comfortable clothing to the sessions and bring a blanket for the relaxation part of the session. Learners can bring their own mat, blocks or straps but this is not essential as they will be provided.

 To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

  • Complete the EVENTBRITE BOOKING.
  • Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
