Write a story in a day about nature!
Looking at examples of writing that uses nature as a backdrop/ character/ place to escape to, you will examine images of nature and consider the different moods/ atmospheres. You will be discussing the potential plots where nature/ the natural world would be significant.
You will be completing writing exercises that use the senses/ explore description/ experiment with different ways to present nature and take a brief look at short story structure.
There will be the opportunity to write and share a piece of writing using the theme of nature.
What will learners achieve by the end of the course?
Learners will have:
• Gained a greater understanding of how published writers use nature in their work.
• Experimented with writing- trying out different ways of writing.
• Had the opportunity to explore ideas for plots.
• Written an extended piece of writing/ short story based around the theme of nature.
• Offered constructive feedback to their peers.
• Received constructive feedback (to help them to develop/ edit their work)

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
