About this course

This course is an exploration of how the legend of Robin Hood has been refashioned, evidencing the political and societal changes of the last millennia of British and world history.

Throughout the course, we will look at Robin Hood: who he was, what he did and how the legend has evolved over the years. We will consider Maid Marion and other love interests and how their roles influence the tales.  We will explore the additions of the Merry Men and their alterations over the years, and the villains he came across – are they guilty or not?

A pen and notebook could be useful.
