About this course

Create your own unique floral designs to take home each week with step by step guidance and advice. 

This course is suitable for mixed abilities of with some experience wanting to refresh learning or progress more. 

By the end of the course, you will: 

  • Have a good understanding of how to arrange flowers. 
  • Explain how to condition and prepare flowers and foliage correctly. 
  • Demonstrate several floristry techniques used in flower arranging. 
  • Create different styles of floral designs to give as gifts or to decorate your home with. 

Resources required by attendees:

Scissors, florist wires, flowers and foliage plus plastic tablecloth to protect the table. 

A resource list will be emailed to the learner 1 month prior to the course start date including first session requirements.

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
