About this course

This course is a beginner guide to decorating cupcakes to create a quilted effect. You will learn how to make toppers to enhance any cupcake.  You will also learn skills and techniques using some cutters and some freestyle modelling.     


Through attending this course, you will learn: 


• How to cut out icing to cover a cupcake 


• How to quilt the icing  


• How to make edible pearls  


Resources required by attendees:

  • Cupcakes, butter cream, piping nozzle and piping bag (Optional)   
  • Diamond cutter or ruler 
  • Stitching tool 
  • Fondant Icing and sugar florist paste equal parts or modelling paste.  
  • Colours- Pink, baby blue, yellow or personal choice. 
  • Snowflake edible dusting powder- (Optional)  
  • Small cutter to fit onto of cupcake size. 
  • Board  
  • Rolling pin 
  • Corn flour 
  • Ball tool 
  • Dresden tool  
  • Edible glue 
  • Cocktail stick.  
  • Paintbrushes 
  • Apron 
  • Container to take them home. 
  • Note pad and Pen.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
