About this course

This course will look at some prior topics (from Spanish for beginners) but in more detail, developing more vocabulary and complex grammar.  It will give you the opportunity to have more independent conversations and practice more complex vocabulary and grammatical structures.

The entry level for learners for this course should be a good knowledge of basic Spanish in topics such as: greetings, directions, shopping, accommodation and hobbies. 


The topics below will be covered to extend your basic vocabulary and grammar learnt in Spanish for beginners: 

- Describe places and people you knew in the past 

- Express hope, intention and regret 

- Talk about future events 

- Report and discuss the weather 

- Enquire about accommodation and book into a hotel 

- State your personal requirements 

- Describe a place  

- Ask and say how much something costs

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
