The art of Reflexology is to encourage the body's natural healing processes by applying pressure to reflex points on the hands and feet, to restore the body’s natural balance. Learning about how the foot, the hand and the ear are like a map of our bodies and understanding the different areas of the hand & foot that correspond to certain organs in our body. We will also learn how to perform a reflexology on each other and on self.
We will cover Health and Safety and the history behind this relaxing art, and the many physical and mental benefits. You will understand how the hands & feet are a map of our bodies and how certain pressure points will relate to different areas of our bodies. Working on yourself or on others you will learn how to perform reflexology using a variety of movements and techniques.
