This course will explain what Type 2 Diabetes is, how you can reduce and how to manage the risk of developing the disease, through healthy eating and being active.
Diabetes can be prevented or controlled with behavioural changes. This course will focus on helping you to develop healthy lifestyle changes that will reduce or remove your risk to type 2 diabetes. The sessions will promote awareness through easy to follow and practical advice.
Topics covered will include:
Learners will also receive takeaway literature, healthy eating recipes and signposting to reputable websites and resources to sustain their changes.
