This course will guide you through practical demonstrations and coaching in a supportive environment. You will develop a plan and work towards a flourishing life by harnessing positive psychology, the science of what makes life worth living.
We will explore well-being topics such as finding meaning and purpose, focusing on strengths, developing emotional intelligence, experiencing flow, and being fully engaged in your life by bringing mindfulness into everyday life, creating positive connections, and working towards flourishing.
This practical course provides coaching tools and activities to apply in your life and put into practice throughout your week.
We will begin by visualising a flourishing future and then we will identify strengths and develop awareness of them in our life. We will adapt goals to ensure strengths are in use and what you value is being honoured in your life. We will take action and plan steps towards a flourishing future.
We will use coaching skills to support each other to explore our progress.
You will benefit from having some pens and paper and a digital device such as a phone or tablet.
If you are in receipt of certain benefits you will be offered the course for free, however if you have a financial barrier which may prevent you from enrolling on the course, please visit our webpage for further information https://www.inspireculture.org.uk/skills-learning/funding-your-courses/
