Discover sound, music, and voice as tools for self-awareness and wellbeing. Join us to create songs, soundscapes, and sound art in a mindful space—no musical skills required, just come as you are!
Experience the powerful health and wellbeing benefits of Mindful Music, from reducing stress and anxiety to relieving muscle tension. In this course, you’ll explore therapeutic sound to heighten awareness, practice voice techniques to centre yourself, and discover music and song writing methods to boost your mood. We’ll also create group soundscapes, helping build confidence and creativity along the way. No need for musical skills or theory knowledge—just bring an open mind (and a smartphone, if you have one)!
Resources required:
Notebook, Smartphone with a voice recording app (if possible) but this can be sorted during the sessions.
If you are in receipt of certain benefits you will be offered the course for free, however if you have a financial barrier which may prevent you from enrolling on the course, please visit our webpage for further information https://www.inspireculture.org.uk/skills-learning/funding-your-courses/
