Have you ever wondered what meditation is and how it has an impact on your wellbeing? Through attending this course, you will develop an understanding of what external factors help to promote and make meditation easier. You will explore different breathing techniques that can influence meditation and apply different meditation techniques in different situations and circumstances to release tension.
You will build up an understanding of how to use meditation and how to prepare your meditation environment. We will cover the many benefits of meditation for our well-being, and how to use mantras and affirmations alongside. We will also explore the effects of colour and the role of chakras, and how to balance these.

- A drink – water or juice, a cushion and blanket or wrap, comfortable clothes, notebook and pen,

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required). As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
