About this course

ReNew is for residents of Newark and Sherwood. If you are currently not in employment and not able to actively look for work then this is a free course to give you the chance to learn a new skill in our friendly, informal ReNew classes at Ollerton Library.


On this course, we will look at what stress is and how to identify your own stress levels.  We will also explore different strategies that will help to reduce it to acceptable levels.


This is a practical workshop that will give you the chance to share experiences and think about how good Stress can help you to achieve more. 


By the end of the course, you will:

  • Understand how Stress has a physical impact upon wellbeing and general health.
  • Create your own Stress Action Plan
  • Understand the links between Stress, Depression and Anxiety
  • Understand how to use questions to support others.
  • Understand how to help others to manage their Stress levels.

Please bring:

  • Pen and paper.

These courses are provided by Inspire Learning via the UKSPF project and you will be asked to complete a Newark & Sherwood District Council enrolment form at the sessions.

To secure your place on the course:

  • Complete the EVENTBRITE BOOKING.
  • Bring your National Insurance number to the first session so you can complete an enrolment form.
