About this course

If you are looking for tips and ways to budget, save money, or just some savvy shopping tips, this course is for you.  This course will help you think of new ways to make the pennies go that little bit further. 


On the course we’ll cover a range of topics and share ideas on:  

- personal budgeting, knowing where your money goes  

- meal planning to minimise waste and save money  

- saving on fuel whether it is petrol, gas, electric or water  

- general money saving tips day to day  

- knowing your benefits and entitlements  

- where to get help and support if needed. 


By the end of the course, you’ll have:  

- An up-to-date budget   

- Weekly/monthly meal plan with shopping lists  

- Action plan for saving money  

- Ideas to make some extra income  

- Know where to go for additional support  


This course is suitable for anyone 19+ looking for ideas to make their money go further. 


This course is for people who don’t have a level 2 qualification in Maths (GCSE C/4 or above) or do but are not confident in using Maths at that level. You will self-declare this on the enrolment form.

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

  • Complete the EVENTBRITE BOOKING.
  • Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

You should be redirected to the Inspire Online Enrolment Form after completing the Eventbrite booking.  If you are not redirected, please use the link supplied in the Eventbrite booking confirmation email.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
