This unit is designed for learners who wish to know how to use word processing software to input, structure, format and present documents effectively.
*** This qualification is intended for learners who already have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word. It is not suitable for complete beginners ***
Learners can develop a more hands on approach to their learning and gain practical skills , knowledge and understanding in their chosen vocational area. The skills, knowledge and understanding gained may help learners prepare for work through real or simulated work situations and may contribute to preparing them for working life beyond education.
This qualification is a unit from the Level 1 Award Exploring Occupational Studies suite, details of the unit taken will appear on a credit sheet that accompanies the Level 1 Award In Occupational Studies certificate.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
