About this course

This short series introduces basic practical skills and tools helpful in living a holistic, sustainable lifestyle. From food growing and cooking to house design and the economy, permaculture aims to plan for a permanent-(sustainable)-culture and a permanent (sustainable)-agriculture. This intro course covers the core concepts and applications of permaculture design and may be the start of a lifelong passion and practice of practical sustainability.

By the end of the course, you will

  • Describe the permaculture ethics and principles and how they can be applied.
  • Appreciate the benefits of using a design practice to improve our situation or tackle problems.
  • Be aware of local projects that you can visit and learn from.
  • Know if you want to take further the study or practice of permaculture design.
  • Feel inspired and motivated to be the change you want to see.

Please note:  No course on 18th February
