About this course

This course is designed to give anyone who has children or who works or comes into contact with children, an overview of ADHD. They will have a greater understanding of what provisions could be used for children with AHHD at home and school, whether their child has a diagnosis or not.


No previous experience is necessary.


Throughout the course:

  • We will discuss language, symbols and acronyms around ADHD. 
  • We will look at the signs that a child may have ADHD 
  • We will talk about the process of being diagnosed with ADHD and the age limit
  • We will discuss how minor changes can really help children with ADHD at home
  • We will look at some of the provisions that could be made at school
  • We will discuss groups, hobbies, etc, which a child may have or attend and how they can be supported in attending these
  • Outline support groups available locally 

Please bring:

  • Notebook and pen to make notes.

As this course is online, a suitable device such as laptop, smart phone, tablet or computer will be required to access the course.  The link for you to join the live sessions will be sent to you once your enrolment has been completed.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
