Indian Head Massage for Beginners - Mansfield Central Library - Adult Learning

About this course

On this course, we will introduce the internal art of how to do an Indian Head Massage to self and to others.  You will learn different movement techniques, be able to identify contra-indications and cover basic anatomy and physiology. You will gain an understanding of the health benefits, gain knowledge of the history of Indian Head Massage and the ancient healing system of Ayurveda. 

By the end of the course, you will show secure knowledge of how to do an Indian Head Massage to self and be able to work on others. This course is suitable for absolute beginners, no experience or previous knowledge is required to participate in this course.

- a hand towel and comb/brush and a drink, notebook, and pen

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).  As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
