About this course

The course aims to help the learners prepare a monthly budget and hence achieve good financial planning. The learners are expected to know about the steps of making a budget and the way of doing adjustment. So, they can keep using money on track.

What will be covered on the course?

Set realistic and specific financial goals
Determine the income and identify expenses by using a budget planner (i.e. categorise the expenses and tracking spending)
Manage expenses and adjust a budget

What will learners achieve by the end of the course?

Learners will be able to:

To understand why making a budget may be useful (i.e. achieve financial goals)
To know and process how to create a budget
To make adjustment on a budget and improve forecasting

What skills or knowledge do learners already need to have to attend the course?

This course is for people who don’t have a level 2 qualification in maths (GCSE C/4 or above). You will self-declare this on the enrolment form.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
