About this course

The role of gut bacteria had been associated with improved physical and mental health.  Interest in strategies to promote a diverse microbiome has been on the increase.  The course will provide insights to recent research into developing a healthy gut and improving mental health. 

By the end of the course, learners will be able: 

  • Identify the characteristics of a healthy microbiome 
  • List factors which influenced our life over the past century 
  • Recognise how our lifestyle impacts on physical and mental health 
  • Develop a strategy to improve gut bacteria 
  • Evaluate the progress of physical and mental health

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
