About this course

Journey back in time to explore where many of our current Holistic Therapies originated and how they have changed in modern society compared to Ancient Culture Traditions. No experience or prior knowledge is required to attend this course, it is perfect for beginners or anyone with an interest in holistic therapies. 

By the end of the course, you will: 

- Recognise The Chakra system used by Ancient Indian Culture and review how this has changed in modern society with Reiki and Meditation. 

- Identify the meridian system from Chinese Ancient Culture and recall any changes in the system of reflexology. 

- Recall Healthy Mind, Healthy Body from Greek Ancient Culture and explain how this relates to Mindfulness. 

- Compare the Sumerian Ancient Culture Temples to the many Health and wellbeing modalities of today.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).  As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
