This course aims to improve your English skills and your confidence in using these. This course is designed for speakers of other languages who want to improve their English and gain an ESOL Entry level 2 or 3 qualification. You should have already achieved an Entry 1 ESOL qualification or have an intermediate standard of English.
Our experienced staff will help you to improve your reading, writing and speaking and listening. You will gain confidence in these skills whilst working in a group.
You will start by doing an initial assessment to decide, with your tutor, which level you will be working at from Entry level 2 or Entry Level 3. You will be assessed near the end of the course on these three elements and once you have completed these you will achieve a City and Guilds ESOL qualification.
This course runs for 37 weeks and requires you attend 2 lessons a week. (Wednesdays and Thursdays)
Please make sure that you can attend the lessons each week before enrolling on the course.
All resources that you need will be supplied by the tutor, but you may wish to have your own notebook to work in too.
If you are in receipt of certain benefits you will be offered the course for free, however if you have a financial barrier which may prevent you from enrolling on the course please visit our webpage for further information https://www.inspireculture.org.uk/skills-learning/funding-your-courses/
To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:
You should be redirected to the Inspire Online Enrolment Form after completing the Eventbrite booking. If you are not redirected, please use the link supplied in the Eventbrite booking confirmation email.
To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
