About this course

This course is designed for people who are new to learning English as a second language and want to learn some everyday phrases that will help them to communicate with others.

This course will focus on a different area of speaking skills in various social situations each week. Topics covered will include greetings and introductions, shopping, ordering food and drink and using local facilities.

This course does not lead to a qualification.

This course aims to improve your spoken English skills and your confidence in using these to help you to progress onto other ESOL courses.

All resources that you need will be supplied by the tutor, but you may wish to have your own notebook to work in as well.
