Drawing for Beginners in Pen - Newark Buttermarket - Adult Learning

About this course

The intent of the course is to persuade any adult that drawing is something that can be learnt as opposed to the common belief that it is an inherent talent. 

The course will look at everyday items and analyse them for the purpose of drawing them as correctly as possible. You will repeatedly draw the same object in each lesson with regular class and individual feedback, encouraging you to see diverse aspects of what your eye perceives and how to convey that to the page. 

You will learn to critically analyse items that you want to draw and be more aware of the rules to draw voluminous objects.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).  As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
