About this course

By attending this course, you will learn how to do a variety of crochet stitches using a crochet hook and yarn, to create Easter Eggs or knick-knack baskets, bunnies, chicks, and flowers. By using an array of stitches, you can learn how to create different designs for different occasions.

This is a course for people with some knowledge of basic crochet stitches.  It will build upon what you already know, enabling you to perform a variety of stitches in different ways. You will create your own Easter Eggs or knick-knack baskets designs, as well as bunnies or chicks, and flowers such as tulips and daffodils. You will build up an understanding of the different terminology used for English and American crochet stitches and crochet hook size conversion for Metric, US & UK.

Resources required:

  • A drink – water or juice
  • Notebook and pen
  • Crochet hooks size either 4-4.5 or 5
  • Different colours and types of yarn
