Playscript layout and introduction to using script practically
Character development
Dialogue
Monologue
Creating and changing atmosphere
Performance

What will learners achieve by the end of the course?

To recall key terms and basic script layout
To demonstrate understanding by taking part in discussion about themes of session
To apply ideas through short improvisation activities
To analyse effectiveness of each other’s work by offering constructive criticism
To evaluate own participation in the session
To create, rehearse and perform a short piece of drama

It would be useful if learners wear comfortable clothes that they can move around in.
