This course will enable those who have written a little poetry, or no poetry at all, to develop their writing in a supportive atmosphere. We will equip you with some basic tools of writing and support you to be more confident about writing poetry.
By the end of the course, you will be able to develop your own way to find inspiration for your writing, learn how to draft and edit a new poem, find language to offer constructive feedback on a poem and learn some basic techniques used by published poets to create a strong piece of writing.
You will need a pen and paper to participate in this course.
As this course is online, a suitable device such as laptop, smart phone, tablet or computer will be required to access the course. Zoom will be used for the live sessions and the link will be sent to you once your enrolment has been completed.
