About this course

This course is a beginners guide to learn about Italian dishes made with fresh ingredients.  

You will learn skills and techniques to cook from scratch including how to make fresh pasta, and your own pizza dough with delicious toppings.  

Learn new culinary skills to enjoy with friends and family.

What will learners achieve by the end of the course?    

• How to make fresh pasta. 

• How to make pizza dough.  

• How to colour and flavor pasta.  

• How to make pasta shapes.   

Learners will have produced a selection of Italian dishes to share with their family or friends.

Resources required:

• Flour, eggs, and salt.  
• Knife 
• Rolling pin 
• Fluted pasta wheel 
• Paintbrush 
• Flavors of personal choice for pasta- Black pepper, Tomato puree, Chilli, Herbs, Saffron or select your own. 
• Ravioli filling- Spinach, parmesan, ricotta, and nutmeg or select your own.  
• Note pad and pen

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).  As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
