About this course

We all know that eating plenty of fruit and veg is good for us. But how do we make sure we eat a variety of foods, enjoy them and stick to a budget? If you’ve ever wondered any of these things, this is the course for you.

Getting started with cooking from scratch can be daunting, so you’ll learn the basics of how to prepare different vegetables and lots of simple tasty ways to use them. During the sessions you’ll find out how to create a base recipe that can then be adjusted to suit your personal tastes. You’ll discover that with a few new skills and ideas you can create a huge amount of variety and stick to that budget. Your friendly tutor will be on hand to guide you and answer all of the questions you have.

Before long you’ll be whipping up snacks, dips, soups and sauces so delicious that you will amaze yourself!

What will learners achieve by the end of the course?
