About this course

Colour affects every aspect of our lives.  You will learn how to harness the power of colour therapy to bring about positive change in your life and enhance personal health and well-being.  Topics include the History, what colour is, the effects of colour, and how to use colour; how to conduct a colour reading using colour cards; and colour diets, and how to use colour to influence how you feel. 

The History of colour and its uses, how colour can affect us and how colour can enhance our personal health and well-being. From your wardrobe to your décor inside and out, to what you eat, colour surrounds us, and the effects colour has on us in all these forms. Topics will cover the History, what colour is, the effects of colour, and how to use colour; how to conduct a colour reading using colour cards; and colour diets, and how to use colour to influence how you feel. Covering Colour Psychology, use of colour in content marketing, how colour is an emotional cue, looking at Primary – secondary and tertiary colours, tints, hues, shades and tones. Components of colour, Biology / Evolution, Meanings and how they can affect us differently and our associations, how different cultures see and use colours, how colour influences our homes, marketing applications, choosing clothes linked to the seasons, how colour is used in brandings and Colour psychology. 

What will learners achieve by the end of the course? What are your learning outcomes? 

• Have an understanding of what  Colour Therapy is and how they can affect us and how they can enhance our physical, emotional and mental states. learn how to harness the power of colour therapy to bring about positive change in your life and enhance personal health and well-being.  Topics include the History, what colour is, the effects of colour on us and different cultures, and how to use colour; how to conduct a colour reading using colour cards; and colour diets. How marketing is influenced by colour and brandings.

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

• Complete the EVENTBRITE BOOKING.
• Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
