About this course

This course is a beginners guide to decorating Christmas cupcake decorations.   


You will learn skills and techniques using modelling paste to create different festive themed decorations which will be perfect for the upcoming Christmas period! 


This course is suitable for people who have some knowledge and experience of cake decoration.  You will learn skills and techniques using modelling paste to create a cupcake snowman topper, a polar bear, a Christmas elf, Christmas presents, and a Christmas tree to enhance your festive cupcakes.   These new skills can be used to enhance any special occasion or celebration cupcake.  


Resources required by attendees:

  • Cupcakes, buttercream, piping nozzle of choice and piping bag (Optional)   
  • Circle cutter to cover a cupcake.   
  • Ready to roll icing and sugar florist paste or modelling paste.  
  • Board 
  • Rolling Pin  
  • Corn flour for dusting  
  • Edible glue
  • ice cream cone
  • dusting icing sugar
  • sweets (to fill the ice cream cone)
  • Paintbrushes for glue and dusting 
  • PME Foam cell pad 
  • Modelling tools: dresden tool, ball tool.  
  • Craft knife  
  • Cocktail sticks 
  • Scissors  
  • Note pad and pen.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
