Are you new to Ceramics? Always wanted to make your own textured decorative tiles or a ceramic box? Using air dry clay is a fun and easy way to create your own tiles where you don’t need the use of a kiln. This course will introduce you to using air dry clay for creating your very own designed tiles and ceramic box. You’ll also be able to decorate them using acrylic paints.
Over the course, you will learn about artists and designers who work with clay and the tools they use. You will also learn how to successfully design and develop ideas to make your tile designs and building a ceramic box using the air dry clay. Furthermore, you will be able to decorate them using acrylic paints.
By the end of the course, you will:
Learners should bring a basic sketchbook/notepad or paper to draw onto, a pen, pencil, rubber, sharpener, variety of acrylic paints, paintbrushes, clay tools (Amazon sell packs of tools from as little as £5.99) 2 packs of air dry clay (any colour is fine 1000g) or you may want to bring more!
