About this course

Are you new to Ceramics?  Always wanted to make your own little pots? Using air dry clay is a fun and easy way to create your own pinch pots and coil pots where you don’t need the use of a kiln.  This course will introduce you to using air dry clay for creating your very own pinch pots and coil pots.  You’ll also be able to decorate them using acrylic paints.

Over the course, you will learn about artists and designers who work with clay and the tools they use.  You will also learn how to successfully design and develop ideas to make pinch pots and coil pots using the air dry clay.  Furthermore, you will be taught how to design and develop ideas for the design of your pots when decorating them using acrylic paints.

By the end of the course, you will:

  • Build confidence using clay techniques.
  • Build confidence using tools and equipment for clay.
