About this course

This course will empower you with a better understanding of the signs of deception and honesty. Underpinned by scientific research, this interesting and entertaining course will highlight how our ancient survival instincts may help us to spot a lie.  


 The course will explore how liars may leak their true feelings. Using illustrations and video, we will look at real life examples of the tells of dishonesty. You will discover the difficulties of detecting deception whilst learning how to spot the nonverbal signs of comfort and discomfort.  


By the end of the course, you will be able to: 

  • Name five potential signs of deception. 
  • Name five indicators of honesty. 
  • Explain how stress can affect someone’s voice. 
  • Name three interrogation and interview techniques.  
  • Verbally analyse video footage. 
  • Name three myths relating to deception.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
